Associate Director - Business Development, International Benefits
Overview An exciting opportunity to lead business growth within the Employee Benefits and International Private Medical Insurance (IPMI) segment across Asia. This role combines new business acquisition, client advisory, and strategic collaboration to deliver market-leading insurance and benefits solutions for regional clients.
Key Responsibilities - Business Development:
Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new corporate clients through networking, tenders, referrals, and digital platforms such as LinkedIn and social media. - Regional Growth:
Develop relationships with regional headquarters and coordinate with local teams to deliver consistent, high-quality insurance and employee benefits programs across Asia. - Client Advisory:
Act as a trusted consultant, providing insight on IPMI trends, product innovation, and market developments to support client decision-making. - Revenue Achievement:
Consistently exceed revenue targets through disciplined client management, cross-selling, and retention of existing portfolios. - Operational Excellence:
Ensure all sales and service activities meet regulatory standards and internal governance procedures. - Strategic Collaboration:
Work closely with divisional heads and senior stakeholders to define and execute growth strategies and drive continuous improvement across teams. - Client Service & Retention:
Deliver timely, solution-focused client service while maintaining renewal income in line with budget expectations.
Qualifications & Experience - Minimum 8 years of experience in business development, client management, or consulting within the employee benefits or insurance sector.
- Strong understanding of employee benefits and IPMI practices across Asian markets.
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning, project execution, and partnership management.
- Proven ability to generate new business and achieve sustained revenue growth.
