Senior Account Manager (Employee Benefits)

Role Overview

Working closely with the Senior Manager for Group Health & Benefits, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of corporate clients and delivering comprehensive employee benefits solutions. The position focuses on client servicing, renewal management, and driving further development within an established book of business, as well as identifying new opportunities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and nurture relationships with corporate clients by providing professional advisory and broking support across all employee benefits matters
  • Drive portfolio expansion through upselling, cross-selling and engagement with prospective clients
  • Coordinate with insurers and third-party vendors to prepare renewal terms, negotiate programmes, and ensure timely placement
  • Analyse claims trends, utilisation, and data to prepare reports and recommendations for clients
  • Assist with ad-hoc assignments or strategic initiatives as directed by management
  • Participate in meetings, presentations, briefings and relevant industry activities as needed
What We’re Looking For
  • Higher Diploma or above with 7–10 years’ experience in Group Medical/Employee Benefits, ideally within a broker or insurer environment
  • IIQE Papers I, II, III, IV & V preferred (candidates with fewer papers will still be considered)
  • Strong command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and negotiation abilities
  • Confident representing the company in client sessions, staff briefings and corporate events
  • Proficient in general computer applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese input
  • Applicants with fewer years of experience may be considered for the Account Manager level
