Vice President - Pensions & Employee Benefits (MPF)
This role is focused on driving commercial performance, shaping strategic direction, and strengthening market presence within the MPF and broader Employee Benefits space.
You will be responsible for leading business expansion, managing financial outcomes, and building strong relationships across clients and partners, while ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities Commercial Strategy & Growth - Develop and deliver strategic plans for the pensions business, with a focus on revenue growth, client retention, and profitability
- Lead new business initiatives, including pitching to large corporates and negotiating complex deals
- Identify opportunities to enhance pension offerings and broaden service capabilities across the Employee Benefits landscape
- Oversee implementation of client pension schemes, ensuring strong execution and high levels of client satisfaction
- Maintain full accountability for financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and overall P&L management
Client & Stakeholder Management - Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key clients, providers, and strategic partners
- Act as a senior escalation point for major client matters, ensuring timely and effective resolution
- Oversee portfolio management to ensure consistent service standards and long-term client engagement
- Support the development of internal teams to strengthen advisory capabilities and cross-selling opportunities
Market Leadership & Governance - Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards
- Represent the organisation at industry events, contributing to market visibility and thought leadership
- Stay informed on MPF and Employee Benefits market trends, providing insights to clients and internal stakeholders
Requirements - Bachelor’s degree required; postgraduate qualifications or relevant professional designations (e.g. FSA, FLMI, CFA) advantageous
- 15+ years’ experience within insurance or financial services, including significant exposure to MPF/Employee Benefits
- Proven leadership experience with responsibility for business performance and team management
- Strong track record in revenue generation, client acquisition, and strategic execution
- Required licensing: IIQE Papers I, II, III and MPF
- Excellent commercial judgement, negotiation skills, and stakeholder management capabilities
