Manager Data Analytics and CRM (AI/Machine Learning) Highlighted Requirements
- Analytics/machine learning/AI/Generative AI hands-on experience in banking industry
- Relevant skillset/experience in Python/R, SQL/BigQuery, and Cloud environment, e.g. Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Embedding techniques, RAG, promptings and LLM fine-tuning experience is preferred
**open to have candidates with lesser exp in banking side, AI /ML and problem-solving capabilities are much more important**
** open to have junior candidates, like 2-3 years of experience**
Principal Responsibilities: - Mine, analyze and model large structured and unstructured data and apply advanced statistical, predictive models and leading machine learning algorithms to explore strategic solutions and actionable recommendations
- Keen to take initiatives to translate business problems into analytics-led solutions with appropriate methodology, manage the business application effectively and evaluate the results rigorously
- Highly sensitive to state of business and anticipative of business problems and priorities
- Ensure timely and quality analytics deliverables to satisfy business needs effectively under the dynamic business environment
- Collaborate with different teams to ensure the successful implementation of AI/machine learning solutions with well-defined performance measurement
- Sharing knowledge and good practice, working collaboratively with different parties to create a productive, diverse and supportive working environment
- Adhere to HSBC policy, procedures and control requirements applicable to day-to-day working, exceptional and project activities
Requirements:
- University degree in in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems or other related discipline
- Minimum 6 years' banking experience in analytics, modelling and machine learning/AI/ Generative AI
- Extensive experience and skill in mining massive volume of data for quick insight discovery
- In depth knowledge and experience with machine learning/AI techniques and algorithms
- Experience in Python, SQL/BigQuery, Tableau/QlikSense on environments such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a must
- Experience with embedding techniques, RAG, promptings and LLM fine-tuning is preferred
- Ability to communicate with impact, with the capacity to ensure complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to a wide and varied audience
- Effective communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem solving, presentation skill and strong business acumen
- Great sense of ownership and servicing mind-set to ensure efficient and effective customer service delivery
