Summary
A senior strategic role responsible for shaping and executing distribution and sales strategies to drive business growth, strengthen broker relationships, and enhance overall sales performance. The position works closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, using market intelligence and internal data to generate insights, support product positioning, and improve the end-to-end sales journey.
Key ResponsibilitiesDistribution Strategy & Sales Performance - Design and implement distribution and sales strategies, incentive schemes, and broker campaigns to drive new business production and achieve sales targets.
- Analyse market intelligence and internal performance data to support strategic planning and sales management.
Customer & Broker Engagement - Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Communications to deliver impactful campaigns and strengthen broker/client relationships.
- Enhance customer and broker experience and support improvements reflected in satisfaction metrics.
Product Strategy & Proposition - Provide market and broker insights to support new product development and competitive positioning.
- Develop product propositions, sales tools, and training materials for distribution channels.
- Plan and execute promotional initiatives to boost sales performance and production targets.
Sales Operations & Process Improvement - Identify and implement improvements across the sales and customer journey.
- Lead or support operational and transformation projects aligned with the target operating model.
- Coordinate across sales, operations, and product teams to improve efficiency in new business and servicing processes.
Requirements - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- ~8+ years’ experience in distribution strategy, sales management, or broker distribution (life insurance/financial services preferred).
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to work cross-functionally.
- Sales and marketing mindset with ability to develop clear, persuasive positioning and messaging.
- Strong project management capability; proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in ambiguity.
- Fluent English and Chinese required; Mandarin advantageous.
