FX Business Analytics Manager (12M Contract) to HKD50k pm

Title: FX Business Analytics Manager 
Duration: 12 months
Salary: HKD50,000 per month (depending on experience)

In this role, you will:
  • Deliver innovative, data-driven solutions by leveraging advanced analytics and technologies to support business strategies, enhance operational effectiveness, and optimise resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams ("Tribes") to embed data-driven insights and foster a culture of informed decision-making.
  • Champion best practices and uphold high standards in analytics methodologies and service delivery, ensuring high-quality information management and analytical solutions for clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, fostering trust, collaboration, and effective communication.
  • Translate business objectives into actionable analytics goals, demonstrating strong commercial acumen.
 
To succeed in this role, you should have:
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in retail banking analytics, with deep domain knowledge of Deposits and/or FX products in Hong Kong or comparable markets.
  • Proven expertise in areas such as customer segmentation, portfolio analytics, pricing analytics, data science, open-source data analysis, machine learning, or AI applications.
  • Proficiency with analytics and visualisation tools (e.g., Python, SQL/BigQuery, Tableau); experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.
  • Strong ability to distil complex analytical findings into clear, actionable business recommendations and communicate them effectively to senior stakeholders and diverse audiences.
  • A university degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science); postgraduate qualification preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and a proactive, service-oriented mindset.
  • A collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively in teams with diverse skills and backgrounds, and thrive in a complex matrix environment with multiple stakeholders.
