Title: Trust Fiduciary KYC CDD AML Business AnalystSalary: 55k per monthDuration: 3 months from start (can be extended if needed) TFS Trust Relationship Managers (TRMs) work in close collaboration with the Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) team, with both functions operating within the first line of defense. CLM is responsible for assessing the quality of client information collected and consolidated for onboarding, customer due diligence (CDD), and KYC. The TRM team manages public searches through gap analysis, corroboration uploading, and finalising CDD profiles. The shared objective is to centralise key FCC knowledge within the CLM team, ensuring consistent and high-quality client data to support TRMs during onboarding and throughout the client lifecycle.
The TFS Business Analyst will proactively engage with both TRM and CLM teams, providing guidance and support across pre-onboarding, onboarding, and periodic reviews, with a particular focus on CDD policy implementation. This role demands precision, attention to detail, and the ability to establish strong working relationships with both teams.
Principal responsibilities - Support TRMs in performing public searches through gap analysis, corroboration uploading, and finalising CDD profiles.
- To guide the TRM in identifying and documenting the information required to satisfy the Bank's Know Your Customer (KYC) due diligence policies and processes during client onboarding and account opening
- Executes and reviews negative media alerts, and performs sanction & PEP screening
- Check/identifies for discrepancies between the information held in the customer's documentation and profile on the system
- Reviews and validated the quality of the due diligence and KYC information on the bank's customers, in line with HSBC policies at on boarding and periodic reviews
- Work with the CDD Advisor when additional guidance on CDD policy is required
- Assists with other tasks as required.
Requirements - Ideally some working knowledge of AML, regulatory compliance within the banking and financial services industry.
- Strong teamwork initiative.
- Good research and communication skills.
- Ability to work professionally with all levels of staff and management.
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Internet Explorer.
- Minimum of a B.A. degree or relevant 3-5 years of work experience (GCB6) or 5-7 years work experience for GCB5
- Strong English fluency and written skills
