About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Usability Designer to join our product team as a strategic partner to our Product Manager and AI Product Lead. You won't just be designing screens; you will be driving the product vision from concept to launch. This role requires a "design strategist" mindset, capable of blending user empathy with business goals to create intuitive, data-driven, and delightful experiences. As a key member of a cross-functional team, you will co-own the product roadmap and translate ambiguous requirements into clear, actionable design solutions. Key Responsibilities - Strategic Partnership: Collaborate closely with the Product Manager and AI Product Lead to define product strategy, roadmap, and quarterly deliverables, ensuring user needs are prioritized alongside business goals.
- End-to-End Design Ownership: Lead the full design lifecycle—from user research and journey mapping to high-fidelity prototypes and developer handoff.
- Continuous Discovery & Research: Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations to gather insights and validate design decisions iteratively.
- Data-Driven Iteration: Analyze user feedback, behavioral analytics, and performance metrics to identify pain points and suggest improvements to enhance user experiences.
- Rapid Prototyping & Interaction: Translate concepts into wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma to align stakeholders.
- Design System Contribution: Maintain and evolve our design system, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and scalability across all digital touchpoints.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with AI engineering, produce management, stakeholders, and users to deliver high-quality, feasible solutions that meet users' needs on time.
Qualifications - Experience: Experience in product design, interaction design, or usability roles.
- Design Thinking Expertise: Strong portfolio demonstrating a user-centered design approach, strategic problem-solving, and refined visual design craft.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to connect design decisions to business metrics like conversion, retention, and revenue.
- Tools Proficiency: Advanced skills in Figma or similar prototyping tools; experience with AI-assisted design tools and vibe coding of prototypes.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, able to articulate design rationale and influence stakeholders.
Preferred Skills - Experience designing complex workflows or data-heavy interfaces.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
