Requirements: - Own end-to-end delivery of digital initiatives from discovery through build, test, release, and post-production stabilization, ensuring outcomes meet agreed scope, timeline, budget, and quality.
- Partner with Product Owners, Technology, UX/UI, Data, Operations, Risk/Compliance, and vendors to shape delivery plans and drive execution across squads/streams.
- Translate business objectives into clear delivery artefacts (roadmaps, release plans, milestones, RAID logs, dependency maps, runbooks) and keep them current.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, refinement, reviews, retrospectives) and/or manage hybrid/waterfall governance where required.
- Manage the delivery backlog with the Product Owner: prioritization support, story readiness (DoR), acceptance criteria, and definition of done (DoD).
- Drive requirements and scope management: clarify ambiguities, control change, and ensure traceability from requirements to delivered features.
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and assumptions; escalate early with options and recommended actions.
- Coordinate cross-team dependencies (platforms, APIs, security, infrastructure, data, third parties) to prevent delivery bottlenecks.
- Plan and manage releases: environment readiness, cutover planning, go/no-go criteria, communications, and rollback/contingency planning.
- Ensure quality management across the lifecycle: test strategy alignment, test execution tracking (SIT/UAT), defect triage, and sign-off coordination.
- Embed security, privacy, and regulatory-by-design practices into delivery (e.g., secure SDLC controls, audit evidence, approvals), working closely with relevant control functions.
- Track and report delivery performance using meaningful metrics (burn-up/down, velocity, lead time, defect trends, release health) and provide clear status updates to stakeholders.
- Manage stakeholder communications: steerco packs, weekly updates, decision logs, and alignment on priorities, trade-offs, and delivery impacts.
- Support financial and resource management: capacity planning, forecasting, vendor management, and purchase/order tracking where applicable.
- Coordinate operational readiness: support model, monitoring/alerting, SLAs, knowledge transfer, training, and handover to BAU/support teams.
- Lead incident and post-release management: hypercare coordination, production issue triage, root-cause analysis support, and lessons learned.
- Maintain delivery tooling and hygiene (e.g., Jira/Confluence/Azure DevOps): workflow configuration, dashboards, documentation standards, and audit-ready records.
- Drive continuous improvement: identify process inefficiencies, implement pragmatic changes, and coach teams on delivery best practices.
- Demonstrate strong leadership behaviors: accountability, collaboration across boundaries, inclusive ways of working, and calm execution under pressure.
