Administration Manager - Employee Benefits

Our client is a well-established international insurance brokerage with a strong presence across Asia and other global markets. They specialise in employee benefits, health insurance, and corporate risk solutions, supporting businesses of all sizes through tailored insurance programmes and exceptional client service.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Administration Manager to lead their Employee Benefits Operations team.


Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Employee Benefits Administration team, ensuring the efficient delivery of policy administration, renewals, and client servicing. This is a leadership role requiring strong operational management, process improvement, and people management skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and develop a team responsible for the administration of corporate employee benefits accounts.
  • Oversee the processing of new business, renewals, policy changes and general servicing activities, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Allocate workloads, monitor service standards and drive continuous improvements to operational processes.
  • Coordinate the collection, validation and submission of renewal and membership data to insurers and clients.
  • Maintain accurate policy and census records while ensuring compliance with internal procedures and insurer requirements.
  • Work closely with internal sales teams, insurers and other stakeholders to support the successful delivery of client solutions.
  • Monitor team performance, establish objectives and implement initiatives to improve productivity and service quality.
  • Assist with operational projects and other administrative responsibilities as required.
Requirements
  • Degree qualified or equivalent.
  • Minimum five years' experience within the insurance industry, preferably in Employee Benefits or Group Medical.
  • Previous supervisory or team management experience is essential.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must hold the legal right to work in Hong Kong.
