An international reinsurance organisation is seeking an experienced High Net Worth (HNW) Underwriter to join its Hong Kong team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex HNW Life & Health risks across Hong Kong and Taiwan while collaborating with regional stakeholders and supporting underwriting strategy across Asia.
Key Responsibilities - Assess complex HNW Life & Health risks, including medical and financial underwriting.
- Conduct underwriting reviews and audits, providing technical guidance to clients.
- Monitor portfolio performance through data analysis and trend identification.
- Support product development, pricing initiatives, and new business opportunities.
- Partner with underwriting, claims, medical, and actuarial teams on client solutions.
- Represent the business through industry events, presentations, and thought leadership.
- Contribute to regional underwriting and claims projects.
Requirements - Degree qualified, with ACII, LOMA or similar professional qualifications preferred.
- At least 7 years' experience in Life & Health HNW underwriting within insurance or reinsurance.
- Strong technical knowledge of HNW underwriting and the Asia insurance market.
- Experience working across regional or international markets is advantageous.
- Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Fluent English is essential; Cantonese and/or Mandarin would be beneficial.
