Senior Communications Manager (6M contract) to HKD80K pm

Title: Senior Communications Manager
Salary: to HKD 80K per month
Duration: 6 months
 
The role holder will also be responsible for developing and delivering purposeful, impactful and creative internal communications that drive region-wide employee experience, as well as execution of People strategy and business priorities.
 
The role holder should have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong track-record in internal communications and exceptional content and writing skills, with the desire to constantly build new capabilities and enhance their knowledge. They will need to develop and act upon measurement and employee insight as well as build strong stakeholder relationships quickly.
 
The role holder will work in close partnership with the regional and country communications teams to execute global and regional campaigns and projects.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Actively drive communications strategy for regional leadership communications for People function, across existing and future communication channels including new/emerging platforms and technologies
  • Able to translate business strategies, priorities and/or initiatives into high-quality content and activities that are relevant at an enterprise and employee level
  • Develop, manage and execute complex communications initiatives with clear deliverables, timelines and budgets
  • Develop and execute employee engagement programmes to connect leadership with employees, including developing key messages and communications materials
  • Develop and produce relevant content for appropriate communications channels, e.g. intranet, videos, newsletters etc that effectively connects leadership with employees, reaches and engages target employee segments with clear KPIs
  • Provide communications counsel to AME People leadership team, influencing their thinking on strategic communications and coaching them on delivery, messaging and story-telling
  • Provide clear and effective communication in response to crisis or emergency situations to reassure and guide colleagues
  • Interpret internal communication's data/metrics and employee feedback to evaluate, inform and improve internal communications and employee engagement
  • Able to manage and collaborate cross-culturally across diverse markets, teams, and/or matrix structure to ensure seamless delivery of priority programmes and foster strong connectivity with our network
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic internal communications and/or people engagement programmes that align to business strategies with a track record of delivering solid and measurable results
  • Outstanding writer with the ability to create compelling messages/content that provides all levels of employees with a clear line of sight to business strategies
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work confidently and effectively with senior executives
  • Ability to understand business issues and devise communication solutions that deliver results, constructing fresh approaches where appropriate and making connects to other issues
  • Able to work independently in complex/ambiguous environment, prioritize and reconcile competing demands with the concept of solution-oriented
  • Superior collaboration and interpersonal skills; strong ability to interface and influence at all levels of management
  • Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment; excellent interpersonal, strategic planning and project management skills
  • Good knowledge/experience in wholesale banking or financial services is a plus
  • Keeps up to date on latest communication trends, insights, approaches/ best practices and use of different tools and platforms for internal communications
  • Ability to work quickly, managing time and multiple priorities effectively
  • Ability to navigate a matrixed organization and adapt to market/country nuances
