Global Market Operations Manager (12M contract) to HKD55K pm
Title: Global Market Operations ManagerSalary: to HKD 55K per month depending on experienceDuration: 12 months ** Chinese language required (Cantonese/Mandarin) Principal responsibilities - Assist the Team Head to provide operations support to global markets business, with focus on Equity Derivatives, performing validation, confirmation, life cycle events and payments.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure compliance with internal and related regulatory requirements
- Provide support and implement operational procedures complied with internal guidelines and relevant regulatory requirements
- Provide support on project / systems implementation, workflow design, and process re-engineering initiatives.
- Participate in the development, testing and implementation of relevant investment product launch and system enhancements
- Work closely with various stakeholders including business users, IT departments, legal and compliance to ensure effective operations
Requirements - University degree in a related discipline OR other relevant qualifications
- Minimum of eight years' banking experience, preferably in GM products, with sound knowledge of Equity Derivatives and other products will be an advantage
- Understanding HKTR, GDR reporting is an advantage
- Attentiveness to details and self-motivation with the ability to work independently and under pressure
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua an advantage
