Job Description
The Corporate Account Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of Corporate clients across Employee Benefits, ensuring their insurance broking needs are effectively identified, serviced, and met to a high standard, whilst maintaining strong client satisfaction and long-term relationships.
The role will involve day-to-day Account Management of existing Corporate clients, whilst also supporting the continued growth and development of the portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Advising Corporate clients on Employee Benefits risks and designing appropriate insurance solutions across Group Medical, Group Life, Personal Accident and related benefits programmes.
- Managing the placement, negotiation and renewal of Employee Benefits programmes with insurers to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
- Coordinating regionally with existing Corporate clients and broker partners across multiple jurisdictions.
- Managing and maintaining strong relationships with insurer and underwriting partners.
- Supporting claims analysis, reporting and ongoing claims management discussions with clients and insurers.
- Assisting in the organisation and facilitation of client wellness days and onsite initiatives aimed at strengthening client engagement and relationships.
- Proactively identifying and addressing any negative client feedback or service issues to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Conducting quarterly, half-yearly and annual client review meetings to assess service delivery, gather feedback and understand evolving client needs.
- Providing mentoring, guidance and coaching to more junior team members.
- Supporting business development initiatives and identifying opportunities for portfolio growth.
- Promoting the company’s brand within the local business community, regionally and nationally.
Experience required
- Degree holder
- Minimum 10 years’ insurance industry experience
- Strong account management experience gained within Health/Medical Corporate level insurance
- A proven track record of delivering both financial and operational results
- Highly developed communication and negotiation skills complemented by a driven, passionate and professional disposition
