Job Description
As a part of Global Investor and Distribution Solutions (GIDS) Platform Services team, we support the organization to win business by enabling teams to deliver value streams faster and making sure site is reliable and resilience. This role will initially be focused on the migration of applications and services from the Legacy Data Centres to SSNC Cloud
Responsibilities:
Your day-to-day work will consist of:
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure Automated build processes.
- Assess legacy applications and design target platform on SSNC Cloud, provision environments and facilitate migrations.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and/or provide guidance to teams to develop their own pipelines
- Work with teams in Thailand, India, US, UK, Ireland and more to support day-to-day request and provide guidance to teams on DevOps practices and tools
- Ensure our system comply with regulatory, security and audit requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information System or related field and a minimum of 6 years work experience
- Good English communication
- Operating system engineering expertise including Windows and Linux
- CI/CD pipeline experience, preferably with GitHub Actions
- Infrastructure as code experience, preferably with Terraform
- Experience with configuration management tools such as SALT or Ansible
- Experience with binary and artifacts management such as JFrog Artifactory
- Logging and monitoring systems such as Grafana, Promtail, Consul and Loki
- Kubernetes, Helm and GitOps tool such as ArgoCD
- Kubernetes administration experience is advantaged
- Good understanding of Microservices Architecture and Service Mesh
- Expertise in at least one of programming languages, preferably Python
- Expertise in post platform build configurations such as SQL installs, IIS builds, Software defined Networks.
- Experience in establishing effective monitoring and alerting, using tools like Grafana dashboards
