This role will primarily target the Hong Kong market, with the possibility of expanding regionally across Asia Pacific.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new business growth by securing group insurance accounts with companies across Hong Kong and the wider APAC region.
- Identify, build, and manage a strong pipeline of prospective clients, including SMEs, multinational corporations, professional service firms, and large-scale insurance buyers.
- Develop business opportunities through a range of lead generation channels such as professional networks, international associations, events, referrals, and existing client bases.
- Leverage sales tools and internal platforms to track and close new opportunities, with a focus on cross-selling where possible.
- Understand client needs and expectations, tailoring proposals and insurance solutions to align with their objectives.
- Deliver client-centric, unbiased advice and maintain a commitment to outstanding customer service throughout the sales cycle.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of internal systems and tools (e.g., Outlook, CRM, Yellow Sheets, MO, PCP), adhering to best practices and protocols.
- Stay informed on the latest insurance products, market developments, and competitor offerings to deliver value-added insights during client engagements.
- Monitor market trends, including regulatory updates and developments within the Employee Benefits (EB) space.
- IIQE Papers 1, 3, and 5 certified
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the insurance industry, preferably in a client-facing or sales-oriented role
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Fluency in Cantonese and English is essential
