Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full end-to-end medical claims process in line with internal policies and local regulations.
- Act as the primary contact for escalated cases, liaising with clients, insurers, and other external stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
- Lead and develop a team of claims professionals, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Champion client advocacy throughout the claims process, ensuring proactive communication and superior service delivery.
- Review and verify claim documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Negotiate settlements with insurers to secure the best possible outcomes for clients.
- Identify and analyse claims patterns to improve workflow efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to Hong Kong Insurance Authority regulations and reporting standards.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain thorough claims records.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 7–8 years of experience in claims management within the insurance industry (broker or insurer), including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in leading teams and managing complex claim portfolios.
- Strong understanding of Hong Kong insurance market practices and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English and Cantonese (Mandarin proficiency preferred).
- Highly organised with the ability to handle multiple cases efficiently under tight deadlines.
