Principal responsibilities
- Assist the team manager to provide operations support to global markets business, with focus on Interest Rate and Equity Derivatives, performing validation, confirmation and payments.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure compliance with internal and related regulatory requirements
- Provide support and implement operational procedures complied with internal guidelines and relevant regulatory requirement
- Provide support on project / systems implementation, workflow design, and process re-engineering initiatives.
- Participate in the development, testing and implementation of relevant investment product launch and system enhancements
- Work closely with various stakeholders including business users, IT departments, legal and compliance to ensure effective operations
- University degree in a related discipline OR other relevant qualifications
- Minimum of eight years' banking experience preferably in GM products, with sound knowledge of Interest rate and Equity Derivatives products operations
- Understanding of HKTR reporting is an advantage
- Attentiveness to details and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and under pressure
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua an advantage
- Great sense of ownership and can do mindset
