Key Responsibilities
- Business Growth & Client Acquisition:
Identify, pursue, and secure new client opportunities through proactive prospecting, market intelligence, and targeted outreach. - Strategic Expansion:
Partner with in-country leadership and global teams to design and execute business growth strategies that unlock new revenue streams and geographic expansion. - Cross-Selling & Integration:
Promote collaboration across other business units to identify and develop cross-selling opportunities, enhancing the value delivered to clients across multiple service lines. - Sales Excellence & Enablement:
Elevate sales and distribution standards across assigned markets. Support local leadership teams in achieving targets, refining performance, and cultivating strategic alliances. - Regional Collaboration:
Contribute to regional and global initiatives by supporting cross-border opportunities and introducing integrated employee benefits and partnership propositions to clients in Asia. - Market Insight & Innovation:
Monitor developments across insurance, HR services, health and wellness technology, and value-added benefit solutions—ensuring the business remains at the forefront of industry innovation. - Subject Matter Leadership:
Provide in-depth expertise on employee benefits and related insurance topics, offering guidance that enhances client outcomes and supports the wider People Solutions strategy.
- At least 10 years’ experience in sales, business development, or client management within the insurance, employee benefits, or consulting sectors, with solid exposure to Asian markets.
- Proven success in generating substantial new business revenue and exceeding targets in complex, competitive markets.
- Strong grasp of employee benefits, risk, and talent solutions across North Asia.
- Deep knowledge of carrier management, placement processes, and regional employee benefits practices.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse client industries, identify opportunities, and develop executable growth plans.
- Exceptional business development skills with a record of securing high-value partnerships.
- Skilled negotiator and communicator with the ability to influence at all organisational levels.
- Collaborative leader who thrives in a diverse, multi-country environment.
