Role: 6 months
Salary: up to HKD40,000 monthly depending on experience
Required: RA 13 License (ideally) and SFC and Code on Unit Trusts
Role Purpose
To lead, manage and develop a team responsible for:
- Ensuring the clients are operating in accordance with relevant investment objectives, rules and restrictions
on the constitutional documents and investment management agreement of the fund. - Analyzing the rules and regulatory requirements that are needed to be setup in the system
- Investigate the alerts, warning, and potential breaches that are escalated by the operational teams
- Overseeing the offshore operations
- Acting independently on monitoring and reporting breaches of the restrictions to clients
- Performing cash flow monitoring and non-custodial assets verification
- Ensuring client SLA are met and agreed procedures followed
- Client servicing and problem-solving skills are required
- Ensuring that all clients are operating in accordance with the
regulations and in accordance with the restrictions as detailed in the
schemes documentation. - Ensuring workflow is effectively managed and conducted within
set deadlines. - act as a link between the team and senior manager to ensure
business is conducted appropriately, ensuring a high standard of
client service is provided - Act as one of the principal points of contact for trustee clients in
relation to regulatory developments and client queries
- Appropriate Trustee or Funds experience, with at least 3 years' experience at manager level.
- A good appreciation of the Hong Kong fund regulatory environment and detailed knowledge of regulatory
developments - Appropriate technical knowledge to deal with legal, accounting and technical issues arising in relation to
servicing of funds - Ability to analyse complex business issues and propose solutions
- Appropriate technical knowledge to deal with legal, accounting and technical issues arising in relation to
the management of funds - First rate communication and presentational skills
- High degree of computer literacy
- Excellent numeric and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Experience and confidence in dealing with clients at a senior level
- Demonstrate management and coaching skills
- Strong team working ability and capable of encouraging ideas and input from team members.
- Clear understanding of importance of effective customer service internally and externally
- Ability to cultivate strategic client relationships and ensuring clients' perspective is the driving force
behind all value-added business activities. - Solid understanding of financial instruments, stock markets and derivatives.
