Key Responsibilities:
• Support the BD team by preparing proposals, presentations, and client pitches.
• Conduct AML checks and World-Check screenings for new client onboarding, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for tasks such as data organization, copy-pasting, creating rate tables, and applying formulas (e.g., calculating Age from Dates of Birth).
• Assist in preparing reports and maintaining accurate records for BD team.
• Coordinate with the Wellness team to integrate health and wellness initiatives into employee benefits offerings.
• Collaborate with the regional teams to ensure efficient communication and support for client onboarding and service delivery.
• Ensure all BD activities comply with Hong Kong laws and Insurance Authority policies.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes in Hong Kong’s insurance sector.
• Liaise with insurers to address queries.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in insurance or employee benefits.
• Strong knowledge of AML compliance, Hong Kong laws, and Insurance Authority regulations.
• Experience with World-Check or similar screening tools for client onboarding.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tasks such as data organization, copy-pasting, rate table creation, and basic formulas.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with fluency in English.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a sales team and support business development initiatives.
