Working with institutional investors, banks, insurance companies, governments and multinational corporations, Securities Services offers a range of fund administration, global custody, sub-custody and clearing, and corporate trust and loan agency services.
The Custody organization is a global team within Securities Services (SSv) responsible for the development and delivery or products within the Custody asset class. This role sits within the Asset Services Product offering where we are embarking on a journey of transforming our Asset Services offering and platforms across our Global Custody & Direct Custody businesses.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst who will own and drive analysis that is required within the Asset Services Value Stream. The role holder will be responsible for analysing business needs and identifying solutions to improve customer experience as well as operational efficiency. The role holder will be document the and analyse current business processes, customer needs and identify areas for improvement and develop future state models.
Principle Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business partners, technology groups, suppliers & customers to design best solutions for Asset Services in Securities Services.
- Design & develop 'As Is' process maps to document current business processes and offerings.
- Identify and prioritize business and operational needs to support the overall offering and client experience.
- Design & develop 'to be' process maps to illustrate future state business processes and offerings.
- Consider the business implications of the application of solutions to the current business environment.
- Strive for robust strategic solutions, encourage others to think strategically and leverage full intellectual capability of subject matter experts and program team
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including business leaders, subject mater experts and product team members
- Facilitate workshops & meetings to gather requirements, validate assumptions and communicate business and process changes
- Develop and track Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to measure success of implementations and usage of solutions
- Knowledge of Post Trade, Equities, Asset services and Proxy Voting within a Custodian.
- Experience of implementing a vendor solution product would be advantageous
- Proven experience with business process mapping including 'As Is' and 'To Be' process design.
- Flexibility in approach, and the ability to show initiative and respond quickly to changing situations.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and work to bring clarity by effectively engaging clients or partners.
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent analytical , problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to execute role with a high level of autonomy while being mindful of when to seek guidance and approval
