Job Description
- Provide a full range of claims related services and advice and guidance to clients on a day-to-day basis
- On-boarding and management of client’s claims portfolio to represent the best possible risk on behalf of clients
- Implement service standards and initiatives for operational efficiency and performance standards of the Claims function, including claims systems and processes
- Provide training and supervision of junior claims team members and other personnel as necessary and advise on additional training as required
- Support the Director of Claims for the creation and maintenance of Management Reports as required
- Compliance with local requirements
- At least 10 years relevant claims management in all lines of P&C claims, with at least three years in a supervisory capacity
- Experienced in claims servicing for local and international corporations, managing claims portfolios and providing claims solutions, data analyses and risk management advice
- Experienced in leading presentations and meetings
- Able to work independently and use initiative and provide solutions
- High level of analytical, numeracy and literacy skills
- Confident and has good communication skills
- Calm and resilient under pressure, able to work flexibly to achieve tight deadlines/targets
- Reacts positively to change
- Ability to learn and share learning
- Has some experience of managing and coaching others in a team
- Networks and is able to build sustainable working relationships
